A momentous occasion is celebrated by Extra Aircraft as the eight hundredth plane is manufactured, an Extra NG. This marks forty years since Walter Extra completed his first Extra 230, and since then the brand has released twelve other models with amazing success writing aerobatic aviation history.

The Extra NG is granted EASA certification for an integrated two-axis G3X autopilot system on December 22^nd, 2021.
