The ’89 FAI European Aerobatic Championship had seven (7) pilots representing the Extra brand across three models between the Extra 230, Extra 260, and Extra 300. With the best, Eric Müller, placing 7th with his Extra 230 at the event.

Following Clint McHenry’s two U.S. National Aerobatic Championship Unlimited title wins in ’86 and ’87 with his Extra 230, he returns to get his title back with another championship win in ’89.
