The ’91 FAI European Aerobatic Championship sees a total of eleven (11) pilots representing the Extra Aircraft brand, with two familiar faces flying Extras now between Nigel Lamb competing his Extra 300 (D-EFRR) and Peter Besenyei competing with his Extra 300 (D-EKTT), placing 8th and 10th respectively.

The Extra 260 SN001 achieves its 1st U.S. National Aerobatic Championship Unlimited title with Patty Wagstaff at the controls with an exceptional performance. This is the fifth U.S. National Unlimited title for an Extra aircraft.
