Extra Aircraft celebrates its 30th Anniversary and a rich history of accomplishments in general aviation and aerobatics. In the thirty years since the first Extra 230 was manufactured over twelve hundred fifty (1,250) Extra pilots have competed in FAI/CIVA official World Championships, National Championships and Regionals with one hundred ninety (190) unique Extras. This represents approximately one-third of all Extras manufactured having participated in the competition environment. Of those events, one hundred nine (109) results in gold medals in various categories!
